Celebrate Wear Red Canada on February 13th!
The Canadian Women’s Heart Health Alliance (CWHHA) invites you to wear RED and celebrate the 5th annual Wear Red Canada on February 13th to raise awareness about women’s heart health.
Why? Because heart disease is on the rise and is the leading cause of death for women worldwide. Globally, cardiovascular diseases affect 1 out of 3 women, yet women everywhere are under-studied, under-diagnosed, under-treated, and under-aware when it comes to their cardiovascular health.
This year, virtual and in-person events are being held across the country including the CWHHA’s national webinar:
“Ask the Experts! Together, Overcoming Barriers in Women’s Heart Health”
February 13 @ 12-1pm (EST)
Our expert panel of patients and healthcare providers will discuss some of the barriers, enablers and solutions around access, diagnosis, treatment and care for women’s cardiovascular health in Canada.
