BEaTS Research Radio – Science and Innovation in Terms You Can Understand
Canada is a global leader in science and innovation, but scientific research can sometimes be difficult for the average person to understand. BEaTS Research Radio aims to address this, by having young scientists interviewing some of the planet’s most brilliant medical masterminds, breaking down the science in terms you can understand.
Every Monday from 10-11am, tune in to BEaTS Research Radio as it is livestreamed from the BioEngineering and Therapeutic Solutions (BEaTS) Division of Cardiac Surgery at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. Each episode consists of one or two interviews on a range of topics. If you tune in to the live show (via YouTube on Mondays at 10 a.m.), you’ll have the chance to ask a question. You can also watch the recordings on their YouTube channel – BEaTS Research Radio – or listen to a podcast (Google Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Spotify and 7+ different platforms in Buzzsprout).
Congratulations to Dr. Emilio I. Alarcon and everyone involved in this fascinating project. For more information, visit the BEaTS Research Radio website.
