The University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI) Patient Alumni is pleased to announce an upcoming food cooking demonstration, to continue to help its members achieve a healthier lifestyle.

This event is planned for Tuesday, May 21st, 2019 at 5:30 PM in Tickers, the restaurant located on the main floor of the Heart Institute, 40 Ruskin Street. It will once again feature healthy recipes with a cooking demonstration. During the demo we will be talking about how the ingredients are linked to heart health. The dishes will be distributed to the attendees so they may enjoy them on the premises.

The session will be given by Elamri Samir, Executive Chef for Marek Food. Also present will be Kathleen Turner, the UOHI Registered Dietitian, to answer your questions.

The cost of attendance is $20.00. Profits will go to the UOHI Foundation.
